Explore the 90 year history of the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), find out what innovation and technical intelligence means and understand its value, both for our past and our future.
Develop and produce the two-day anniversary event entitled ‘Towards Digital Life’ in the World Forum. A special programme that looks towards the future from the perspective of the organisation’s history. On the first day, TNO welcomed 250 business relations and on the second day more than 2,000 TNO employees. Certain elements of the programme were tailored to each target group.
Upon arrival visitors walked down a blue carpet which was flanked by displays showing TNO’s history. The exhibition was a lively depiction of how TNO has played a key role during the past 90 years as regards to inventions which are still important features in our lives today. At the inspirational festival participants were able to take part in workshops, admire demonstrations and were also made to think by challenging speakers. On the main stage Maaike Schoon introduced the audience to a dynamic programme featuring, among others, Bas Haring and Victor Mids.
